RORO

The famous RORO “Roll-On / Roll-Off” is generally cinsidered as the most economical means of shipping. The RORO ships accept the shipment of wheeled vehicles.

If your vehicle height exceeds 2.50m or exceeds 11.50m long, you must ship your vehicle in a RORO boat.

The RORO service offers two options:
1. FERRY SERVICE: You drive the vehicle into the ship’s hold and travels in passenger cabin.

2. FREIGHT SERVICE: You leave your car at the port. We handle all transportation and customs clearance, from the departure to the arrival.

CONTAINER

The option of a container is usually reserved for vehicles whose height is less than 2.50m and whose length does not exceed 11.50m.

It is the safest way to transport your motorhome or 4×4 by ship. We receive your vehicle in our warehouse at the port of departure, nobody access to the vehicle until the opening of container doors within our private deposit upon arrival – Usually done in your presence.

RESERVATION

No doubt you can contact us at any time to verify all the details of your transportation project, but the reservation must be made

12 weeks before the planned departure in the case of RORO-Ferry service and 6 weeks in the other cases.

SAFETY ON BOARD

Today, shipping is safe. Both transports service vehicles shipped in container or RORO vehicles, we have not had any serious incidents to testify in the period of 3 years.

Wave VS does not use the transfer service. In addition, we have agreements with shipping companies, ensuring maximum safety for your vehicle.

Frequent questions.
When booking? Only 6 weeks of anticipation for your vehicle dispatch, three months before if you want to be on board a RORO ship.

Should I make a transport insurance? The insurance premium for a used vehicle is U$S 50.00 + 0.45% of the declared value. Coverage is limited to the total loss of the vehicle. Extremely rare, but considering the cost, our advice is why not?

Can I insure the contents of my motorhome or motorcycle during the maritime transportation? Impossible

What documents submitted? Gray card – Passport – driving license – certificate of insurance documents are required.

How is the shipment? For containers service, vehicles must be delivered five days prior to departure (ETD) of the vessel, for departures on RORO pre-departure (ETD) 2 days.

How long to get my vehicle? 48-72 hours after the arrival of the ship to the port, except in Europe: 24 hours.
